France’s Mathias Bellino put his name in the history books becoming the first rider to win the newly introduced EnduroGP class of the Enduro World Championship. Clearly demonstrating his intentions to battle for the first ever EnduroGP World Championship crown, Bellino mastered the dry, rocky and unpredictable conditions of Morocco to earn a 21-second margin of victory on day one. A mistake on the very last enduro test forced the Frenchman to settle for second on day two.

Steve Holcombe - EnduroGP Overall Podium - EWC Rd1 Morocco

Enjoying a standout weekend at the GP of Morocco, Steve Holcombe marked his senior class debut with a runner-up result and a win in Enduro 3, while also placing fourth on both days in the ‘outright’ EnduroGP class.

Johnny Aubert - EnduroGP Overall Podium - EWC Rd1 Morocco

Making a switch to two-stroke machinery for 2016, Frenchman Johnny Aubert kicked off his world championship season with a brilliant performance and a win in Enduro 3 on day one. Struggling to find a similarly fast pace on day two Aubert had to settle for third in the class.

Taylor Robert - EnduroGP Overall Podium - EWC Rd1 Morocco

Finishing fourth and sixth in Enduro 2, Taylor Robert was satisfied with his debut at the EWC: “It’s been a good race and a bit of a crazy experience. The special tests were brutal, but I’m happy to get through things healthy and with some strong results. But I’ve experienced and learned a lot and feel like I did pretty well.”

Loic Larrieu - EnduroGP Overall Podium - EWC Rd1 Morocco

Making his international debut with Yamaha, Loic Larrieu wrapped up the weekend with a fifth and a fourth place in Enduro 2. Winning the long enduro test at the final lap of day two, the Frenchman showed that he’s ready to fight for the podium in his class.

Josep Garcia - EnduroGP Overall Podium - EWC Rd1 Morocco

Spanish youngster Josep Garcia enjoyed an impressive start to his 2016 championship campaign earning two runner-up spots in Enduro Junior.
